  • Is my credit card information secure?

To protect the security of your credit card information, we use the industry standard for Internet security, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This Internet encryption standard scrambles data as it travels from your computer to our server. You will know that you are in a secure area of our website when you see a small lock in the bottom right corner of the page you are on.

  • What are Baptists donor protection policies?

Baptist is in full compliance with the laws and regulations of HIPPA and The Donor Bill of Rights.

  • Is my gift tax deductible?
Baptist is a 501(c)(3) organization; therefore, your gift is tax deductible. You will receive a thank-you letter from our office with the amount of the gift listed. This letter can be used for tax purposes.
  • Will Baptist apply any of my gift to administrative costs?
No. Baptist is fully responsible for the administrative costs of the Foundation Office. Therefore, 100% of all donations go toward the donor’s intended purpose.
  • How do I make an honor/memorial gift?
When you are making a secure online donation, you will have a section that allows you to make an honor/memorial gift. Baptist Health Foundation will mail you an acknowledgement letter for your gift. Additionally, your recipient will receive a tribute card announcing an honor or memorial donation was made by you.
  • How long will it take for my tribute card to be delivered to the recipient?
Your recipient should receive the tribute card within 7 to 10 business days.
  • I would like to donate equipment, artwork or other items to the hospital. Does Baptist Health Foundation accept in-kind donations?
Yes, we accept in-kind donations. If you would like to make an in-kind donation, please contact our office at 601-968-1489.
  • How can I take advantage of my company’s matching gift program?
Many companies offer matching gift programs, which will match your gift dollar for dollar or more. To find out if your company will match your contribution, please contact your Human Resources Department. Once you have determined your company matches gifts to Baptist, please obtain the appropriate form from your Human Resources Office and send it with a copy of your gift receipt to Baptist Health Foundation, 1225 North State Street, Jackson, MS 39202.
  • What opportunities are there for name recognition?
Baptist has several naming opportunities throughout the hospital. Please contact Baptist Health Foundation for more information at 601-968-1489.
  • I can only make a small gift at this time. Will it still make a difference?
All gifts, no matter the amount, make an impact at Baptist because 100% of all donations go toward the intended purpose.
  • Can I give to more than one fund?
Yes; however, you will need to repeat the donation process for each desired fund.
  • Why do you require another identification number besides my credit card number?
The Card Security Code (CSC) is required to provide additional security while making an online donation. This 3- or 4- digit number is located on the back of your credit card.
  • Why was my donation denied?
If your transaction was denied upon submitting a donation, it is likely the information you have provided, such as credit card information, did not match what the bank has on record. For additional assistance, please contact Baptist Health Foundation at 601-968-1489.
