Every year, more than 200,000 Mississippi women aged 40 and over forego a screening mammogram, in many cases because they lack the finances or insurance coverage for the exam. Fund for the girls is determined to reduce that number to zero by breaking down the financial barrier that prevents some from seeking needed breast health services.

Your tax deductible support of fund for the girls through the Baptist Health Foundation helps to provide mammograms, ultrasounds, and biopsies for women throughout the state who otherwise would go without such procedures —  and not necessarily by choice.

The sad fact is that Mississippi has the highest death rate for breast cancer in all of the United States. Your support for fund for the girls can help reduce the statistics and provide life-saving services for Mississippians in need.
